Little Girl
Little Girl

This quiet, gentle soul is one of the dogs rescued by Helping Hounds from a Polk County, North Carolina hoarding home. She will reward any attention with a wagging tail and a happy kiss. Little Girl asks so very little, so we will speak for her. She has been diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia. You would never know the extent of her pain, because she does not even whimper. But she desperately needs an operation and soon. The cost is overwhelming for our rescue, so we are turning to you for assistance. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help us give this wonderful girl the chance she so deserves – to live, love and be loved.

Help us save defenseless and loving animals from a cruel death. We rescue as many dog as we can afford to.. but we CAN'T save them all!! It is heart breaking to have to reject needy animals knowing that they face certain death.

It takes money to keep Helping Hounds Rescue operating. We need your support. So please HELP. Click on the button below to find out how.

Kady
Bull, Treeing Walker Coonhound

Kady is a very pretty 2 year old black and brindle boxer mix. She can be shy even when she really likes you. Her foster mom thinks that when Kady was a pup, she was grabbed by the collar and hit, so if you approach her too quickly and raise your hand, she will scurry off to a safe place even though she really would love to be near you.

Kady gets along very well with other dogs. Right now, she is living with 3 large dogs and 2 little ones. Kady haven’t been cat tested yet, but more than likely they would not be a problem for her. She is also house broken.

If Kady could pick a home, she thinks she would prefer a female owner who loves to go for walks, give her lots of love and take the time to understand her. But if there is a male human around and he is very gentle, Kady will love him too!
